It happened while I was in the starting hall in Beasts Castle... it was wierd... because as soon as that happened I accidently entered the next room.

The Heartless looks like a bubble gum machine and had a reaction command to it. Doing so will give you HP and an item (sometimes rare)
Look at the General Discusion sticky, I put information about them there.
To make them show themselves you have to destroy apart of the environment (i.e. carts in Mulan's World).
Use the reaction command to kill them, but notice their HP slowly going down? Well, the lower it is, the more chance of getting Orich or rare materials. But the lower it gets, the faster they move around.
Donald and Goofy (or whoever is in my party) try to kill it. How can i get them to not? I've seen this rare heartless 3-4 times and got unrare prizes and a level up.
They can't take any damage, so their efforts fail.
If you're still upset about that though, you should know by now how to set their attack patterns. Set it to Sora Attack or something until you get the items you need.

I think it dropped Orichalcum+
They don't drop orichalcum+. There's only seven of those.

lol. Do they only appear in one place or what? I've seen it spawn in Land of Dragons twice, never any where else.
They spawn in the east wing of the Beast's Castle. I think it's the east wing anyway. The big room where the entrance to the dungeon is. That's the only other place I've seen them.

What? It's true. There's Orichalcum+ and Orichalcum, one of which you can only get 7 of, and the other which you can get as many as you like by the bulky vendors.Quote:

Oh, is that what those things are? Those bubble-gum machines. xD I encountered one in the Underworld once. I knew it was like the White Mushrooms from KHI, but I had no clue what to do with it. :p :cat:

You can press the reaction command at any time, you have to be right next to it though. Get it down to around %25HP and press triangle, and it'll give you rare items.
It's really not that hard to work out...

I must have ran into that thing at least 20 times and every time I entered the damn area the damn vendor would disappear before my damn eyes before I even got to do a damn thing. :mad:

No it was not hidden. It was always right in front of me and would disappear the moment I walked into the area. And both G&D were on Sora Attack.
it went and hid into part of the scenary, litteraly
you have to destroy something in the area to get it to fully appear
