I heard there was going to be a entirly new stuff thingy like new class and .
And if you don't want to shell out $600 for a game that came out in March with new upgrades, you can just download the new content from the X-Box Live Marketplace!
yes thats true the new clases will include Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, and Knights of the Nine
let me quote form Howard (the creater) in his intervew with OPM
Up to this point, all the features and details we've been talking about apply to the 360 and PC versions of Oblivion. but in order to make the PS3 version the "best version of Oblivio that there is" in howard's words, Bethesda is adding an entirely new quest line-an extra 10 to 20 hours of completely new gameplay for the PS3 audience.
The Fighter's Guild, Mage Guild, Dark Brotherhood, and Thieves Guild are all available in the original versions of Oblivion. The new quest they're talking about is the Knights of the Nine, which will be available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace and on the PC. The PS3 isn't getting anything exclusive, though it's probably true the game will look slightly better, since they have some time to make use of the Cell's processing power.
Knights of the Nine yeah that's it!
The graphics will be the same, it's just the distance blending that has been improved. There won't be a harsh distinction in texture quality like you had with the 360 version when looking over vast distances.
I'm more interested to see what the PSP version will do with the PS3. As others have mentioned, the only real difference between the PS3 version and the PC360 version is that the previously downloadable quests and a brand new quest will come in the box.
This definitely isn't a 'system seller' though, as those fanatics already have the game on one of the other systems. It'd be good for folks who haven't yet played it to pick up though.
Hopefully, some of the 1,892,723 bugs will have been fixed in this version.
I doubt it will be ready for launch, though.
It's been confirmed as a launch title.
The game was nowhere near as buggy as Morrowind. I don't think any game can compete in terms of buginess when it comes to Daggerfall, though.
I'll believe that when I have a copy in my hand. :pQuote:

I already have it for the 360. I'll just download knights of the nine. But there's only one good bug: duplicate items. The others just slow it down.
Then again, this isn't exactly surprising to me at all. Then again, as I have no plans to buy a PS3 at launch, I'll probably pass it over for the 360 version.
I AM SO HAPPY TO HEAR THIS! THE PS3 GAMERS HAVE BEEN SAVED, MYSELF INCLUDED! YES! WONDERFUL.
still to overpriced for that game.
FFXIII + Devil May Cry 4 + some other amazing game...
Ok this is simple it is well worth the buy. The graphics are so far much better than the Xbox 360 and there are a whole tone of new areas in the game as well that is exclusive to the PS3 version and can't be got on Xbox. Check OPS2 for more details yo.:)
Not really. It is pretty nice, though.Quote:

As for the graphics, maybe they're a little better, but not $500 better than the 360. A capable PC will always look better regardless. This is not a system seller anymore, just a nice bonus for PS3 people.Quote:

So, in essence: Wii, here I come.
Quit with the negative, this is nothing but good news for the PS3. Even though I thought Oblivian wasnt all that.
YAY...NOW I DON'T HAVE TO FEEL GUILTY THAT IM GETTING A PS3 INSTEAD OF A 360!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOOT TO MY BROTHAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw alot of the game on the Xbox360 verson, and never saw a bug. Thenagain, I wasen't looking that much :)
O! O! let me name some :)
Mercs 2: World in flames, R:FOM, MGS4, FFXIIIVs, Assassin Creed, Warhawk, Lair, Hevenley Sword, Rainbow 6: Vegas, Call of duty 3, Full Auto 2: Battlelines, Burnout 5 and Motorstorm. Yea, I know their not all exclusives, but who cares?
... yea... have fun with that :greenie: :rolleyes2 :greenie:
Any way.... :)
im surprised that Jole hasn't com and ranted yet :D
Why do they toy with us so?
In addition: NBA Live 07 was cancelled outright, F.E.A.R. is delayed til next year, and the already sketchy Sonic is delayed to an unspecified date (but still this year).
At least 360 and PC users will still get The Knights of the Nine missions later this month.
I already have Oblivion for the 360 and I also cannot afford $600 just to play video games.
