I've never been a member of any fan club and I probably never will be. When I was a kid I idolized Michael Jackson quite a lot, though.
I was a member of this LoTR fanclub, an aeon ago. Provided a bunch of lovely parties, some peanuts from Mordor and then it all died down.

I don't think I have joined any fan club, the only thing that kinda resembles a fan club is Christianity. That's a group worship a specific person.
Anyway, its a sin to make idols out of people/other Gods and worship them.
