What GF is your favorite? Personally, mines Quezacotl. He's pretty weak most of the time, but I think that he's the coolest. Panemona and Leviathan are cool to.:choc:

Quezacotl was my favourite too. I can't pinpoint the exact reason why i like him, but i just warmed to him from the start. Maybe the fact that he was the only GF i used in the game (which was at the start) is probably it.
It's hard to think about how eden couldn't be.
She has by far the best attack of all the GFs, the most interesting sequence, she can help you raise your stats (with devour), she makes you lucky, can save on your magic, she is the most secret to find, she lets you refine some of the neatest stuff in the game (gf abl med has items that are totally unique, Hundred Needles, Glow Curtain, etc)
But she's not nearly as cute as Carbuncle! or fascinating as Alexander!
Shiva's the best man!! She's so cool.
Siren is a bit slow, I mean the sequence but she's pretty good if you learn all her abilities. In all the Final Fantasys Shiva ranks the highest for me.
Eden's probably the most useful, although its summon sequence is long (however, it's quite easy to Boost to 255). As for my favorites, Alexander and Bahamut had my favorite summon animations, IIRC.
Ifrit gives me the hots and Pandemona sucks.
Shiva is really sexy and Carbuncle is so adorable!!!! :love:
I will have to go with Cerberus his atack was original plus i just like his figure and the habilities it allows you to have.
Doomtrain. Makes pretty much every enemy a complete and utter pansy. And it has the msot whacked out summoning animation.

Carabucle would be my first choice if she was useful she's so cute >.<
It's either tonberry, or cactuar that have all those (stat)-ups.
Diablos. Mug. Enc-none. Time RF. Plus he,s so easy to beat.

either Diablos or jumbocactar. Diablos is jus bad-ass all the way around an jumbo is jus freckin awsome, his attack is funny as hell an its strong.
Alexander was cool. However, Pandemona will always have a place in my heart.

I'd say Eden is the best for attacking with, but it takes so bloody long to summon - I've always had a soft spot for Bahamut or Shiva myself.

for awesomeness tonberyy probably wins. its a cool and funny GF (anime style sweat drop.) and has useful abilities.
Favs: Tonberry, Bahamut and Diablos.
Reasons: T=Funny and annoying. B=N/A and cool and powerful and and and... ^^ D= Enc-none, Mug and Str +80%.

Diablos is my favorite GF (and my second favorite summon of all time, edged out only by Anima).
He's got Enc-None, one of the best damages in the game, no boosting required and one heck of an attitude! :radred:
Cerberus is the most practical GF. Tonberry is also useful for his Shop abilities, and Bahamut is also neat. But...really, for me, none of the GFs were used for attacks after awhile.
Eden has GF Abil Learn Med refining! How else do you plan on getting an easy access of spd+s?
the GF summon sequences are rendered in real time, not FMV. You'll have to use a capture card or something to get those, yeojina
Cerberus is only good if you use magic for attack :p the only magic I use is either contextual or Angel Wing. I only ever really used cerberus when casting Demi on malboros so I could devour them:p then I realized malboros had demi so I could just draw-cast and save having to replenish my stock xD

Bahamut, Shiva, Ifrit - the way they make their appearances in the game is one of the best i've seen among the series. i also like to use Cerberus.
Non-Summonable:
Griever. of course, i can get Quistis to use his Shockwave Pulsar, which is often more powerful than when he uses it.

For me it's Cactaur and Diablos. I love how the Cactaur jumps up and sprays the enemies with needles and Diablos has Enc-None and I like his summon animation. I love the sound it makes when the big ball of blackness squishes the enemies. If you've got a good sound system hooked up to your PS2, it sounds great.
