I've had glasses since I was eleven. I just don't wear them because they're hideous and I can see perfectly fine without them.

Yup! I have very bad vision (-7, -6?), so I need to have my contacts in or glasses on. I'm wearing glasses right now, which is usually what I do during the weekend when I'm lazy. xD
I've been told I have to wear glasses all the time with my vision, but I can make objects and people out perfectly fine. It's mostly just writing at a distance I can't see.

I have 20/150 vision in my left eye, 20/175 in the other.

I used to wear glasses everyday from the age of 9 and until I was 13, where I got contacts. Now I wear contacts everyday... more or less. I sometimes wear glasses in the evenings and in the mornings, though. During weekends and vacations I tend to wear glasses quite a lot too just because I'm lazy.
I dislike wearing glasses. Not because I look especially stupid or nerdy with them on, but I just think it's impractical.
I wear a monocle. It makes me look fancy.
I only have to wear glasses when I'm painting or using a computer. I hate them, I want to get some new ones soon.
I only wear my glasses when I get tired of wearing my contacts, which isn't often, usually only early in the mornings and late at night. I never wear them outside the house.

I started wearing glasses a year ago since my vision went bad. Too much time on the computer I'm guessing.
I'm the only one in my family who doesn't. Although the eye doctor said that i'm a little short sighted, it isn't essential that i wear them.
My eyes are terrible. Like really. If I don't wear my glasses, I can't see a damned thing.
Funny story, actually. I had to take my glasses off to work last week. Today I learned that the entire time I had them off I was standing 15 feet from Jim Caviezel and I didn't even know. :P

Yes, I do wear glasses. Unfortunately I bought a frame that really sucks so I have to readjust them on my nose every few minutes. Good thing I need a new pair soon so I'll be sure to pick out a better frame this time.
I wear contacts to work when I have time for them in the morning, but I can't see a lot of distance with them so work is the only place that I can wear them because I sit in front of a computer all day and distance is not a concern. :cat:

When I was younger I was told to wear reading glasses, but I never wore them. Now the doctor says I don't need them, my vision is perfect.
I've had glasses for about half my life so far. My vision still hasn't stabilized... every year or two I have to get a stronger perscription. Right now the perscription is so high that without my glasses I can't see anything past a few centimeters clearly.

Yup, I'm blind as a bat. Can't clearly make out a face that's further than about 7 feet away. You can forget about reading signs and things without 'em. >.<

I'm a bit nearsighted, so I wear glasses if I need to read anything that's not directly in front of me, like the white board or street signs, or sometimes the computer screen when my eyes already hurt.
i have them on because i'm near-sighted. i can read books without glasses and everything, but sometimes i still wear them anyway. i probably had them since 1998 or 1999.

I've worn glasses since I was 6. I can see quite well without them since I'm long sighted in only one eye, but it feels weird and things don't stay still.

No, I don't have glasses, but I think I will in the future... I am the only one in my family that dosn't wear glasses. My parents, uncles, aunts, sisters, brother, nieces and nephews all have glasses. Can't remember if any of my cousins have glasses, though.

I need to wear glasses to see writing that is far away and to see things in more detail, but I rarely do. I only wear my glasses if I'm watching TV from far away, or in class. I would need to wear them for driving too, but I should have contacts by then. :jess:

I don't wear glasses. Once my friends and I were sitting in the mid-back seats in a lecture in the university, and we couldn't see the subscripts the lecturer was writing on the chalkboard (the subscript letters were small, and his handwriting wasn't exactly the best I've seen). One of my friends tried to see the subscript letters with his glasses, but he couldn't. Another friend borrowed his glasses and tried to see, but he couldn't see them, either. I asked if I could try, so I also borrowed his glasses, but that only made the chalkboard look more blurred for me. :p

I find glasses very annoying and bothersome.
I wear them. Have done so consistantly since 1999. I had to wear them earlier, but I never did because I "didnt want to be a nerd"
I eventually started wearing them again in 1999, but would not wear them to school. However I wore them on day one to high school, as it was a new school and nobody knew what I looked like without them

I used to, but not anymore. No contacts either. I had lasek eye surgery a few months ago. So I just wear sunglasses now. Lately, though, I feel like something is missing... when I wake up and try to find my glasses. Maybe my eye sight is returning to the way it was and I'm starting to realize it? :tongue:

Yeah... I don't NEED them to see they just help a bit... most people think they're just plain glass... but I get EVIIILLL eadaches if I use a computer without them. But they're crappy NHS ones that I've bend and scratched... I'm saving for a really nice FCUK pair..but they're £150... still saving...
