What do you know how to cook?
To be honest... absolutely nothing. ;__; I wish I could cook or bake.
Was it floor pie?
Different things, plus if you have a receipe in front of you it is not that hard to cook most things.
When I've gotten a recipe and attempted to cook something, the result is usually good. It doesn't really take much skill to follow a recipe, I suppose, but I can make things like chicken parmesan or pizza or brownies just fine. I'm definitely no chef, though; I can't just go into the kitchen and whip something delicious up from scratch. :p Typically, when at home, I'm just nuking frozen food or cooking hotdogs or something like that.
MANUS STEW.
Access denied, baby. What a drag.
I can cook lots of things. I haven't really met anything I can't cook.
EDIT: Except Crepes Suzette.
Most things I can cook from memory are the basics like macaroni cheese, which I have cooked so many times in the past that the method has become embedded in the back of my mind. I am getting pretty good at making chicken noodle soup from memory... though last time I did that I made a pretty big broth error. :-[
What I really like to is bake stuff like cakes (and the like). Though I am pretty confident of my cake baking skills, the only cake I will make without a recipe at hand is a sponge cake. More difficult foods intimidate me enough to have me go by recipe, especially with meringue, which I have had some pretty depressing results with even when I have a recipe.
PG, I can't see your pie. :(
I don't like to cook, but I do like to bake. I make good pie and I can do that without a recipe. Fruit pies anyway. Anything fancier and I like to see a recipe. :cat:
Sorry fixed.
Didn't know devart didn't allow offlinking
PG. What is that? It looks like bananas covered with whipped cream and powdered chocolate. :)
All from scratch.
Pizza
Cheesecake
Various Pies
Various Cakes
Sugar Cookies
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Brownies
Pretty much any meat
That's all I feel like listing.
It does too take skill. ;_;
I enjoy cooking very much, but I'm not very good at it and sometimes even when I follow the recipes from FoodNetwork, things still come out very very wrong. It makes me sad. And I leave the kitchen looking like a tornado went through it. It's hard to cook!
But I'm working on it, and I think I'm getting better. My boyfriend likes the food I make. :)
Let's see, stuff I've can make somewhat decently:
- Chicken Parmesan
- Cajun spiced chicken
- Baked potato soup (with BACON!)
- Basil, sausage, and onion frittata (this one was easy!)
- Chicken and beef kebabs with herbed potatoes
- Spaghetti
- Pasta in Alfredo sauce
- Tacos! (also very easy)
- Cookies... of LOVE
- Omelettes (of LOVE as well)
- Kimichi fried rice
That's all I can think of at the moment.
many many things, both well and bad, my specialty is Chocolate covered Chocolate with Chocolate topping *mmmm*
Right.
Curry. Backwards curry (my own ). Pizza (dough and all). Spag Bol. Steak. Cake. Flapjacks...there's more but I forget.
Leeza keeps making fun of me :(
It's pg's whipped cream chocolate cookie cake :D
I can make beans on toast and a boiled egg. Thats it.
I know how to make fried eggs... I'm so pathetic :eep:
Pot noodles, toastm tuna and sweetcorn and micro meals.
Nothing coolio. Although my tuna and sweetcorn is heavenly ^^
I can make sandwiches, hotdogs and other bare basic things.
I need to learn to make real food.
That's not pie! That's whipcream logs with shavings. >=(
How dare you deceive my trust.
*Stampedes Tokyo in a rage
Being woman I naturally make anything, donchya know.
My last creation was a spinach and roma lasagna.
I can cook, bake, grill, stew, fry, boil, and other such kitchen activities. I usually just throw stuff together and make either a culinary masterpiece or complete abomination. I just have to take out the batteries from the cooking alarm once in a while, because I'm somewhat neglectful. ^_^
Hmmmmm....I can make cheese on toast
I learnt to cook from my dad, who is bloody awesome at it. So yeah, I'm pretty good at cooking myself. I'm less adventurous than he is really, since I have a bizarre sense of taste. I also do most of the cooking here at home, since my girlfriend is lazy and not nearly as good as I am. Useless cow. <3
I can cook quite a few things, I enjoy it. But really, most of the time, I just throw things into the oven and wait for them to cook. :jess:
I can make toast.
:magus: Water.
:magus: No no...not just any water.
:magus: BOILED WATER.
O_o What's that pie made out of, PGiggle? It looks like dirt and lotion. xD
I can make some things I learned in cooking class Freshman year. For instance, some homemade pancacas (pancakes). Though, I am definitely no gourmet chef.
grilled cheese, mac 'n cheese (from scratch), peanut butter cookies (From scratch), Chili, spaghetti 'n meatballs, fried potatoes, and various other things that I can't think of at the moment T_T
I've been able to cook for a long time now. Since I was about 10 if I remember rightly. So I can cook lots of things. Cooking is not difficult.
My mom can make so many wonderful things out of scratch it puts me to shame.:(
At keast im not as bad as one of my friends who tried to make bread out of scratch and when people saw it they thought it crusty meatballs and not bread.:D
I'm not too shaby :p
I'm woeful. Really. :(
Waitaminute. That's not a pie!
PANCAKES. I'm SO happy. I made my FIRST PANCAKE TODAY. o_o I'm also highly caffeinated at the moment. But . My FIRST PANCAKE. ;D
I like baking, may not be brillant at it but like it none the less.
In fact about to leave for co-op now to get the ingredients to make my friend a be-lated Eid cake.
I'm a dab hand with some cabbage and a bucket of water
Cooking is fun and I enjoy it =D And I bake alot as well.
Banzai!
I'm an alright chef. I mean give me a recipie and I can follow it and get a great result. I can also do many pasta dishes or other simple things from scratch very well. My pasta bakes are a firm favourite, especially when served started with something light and simple (ciabatta with mozarella and tomato on it is good) and a great bottle of wine. Twisted Tinkerbell however is a great baker and should do cakes for me more often as they are yummy (but then I want to remain slim so maybe not lol)
I learned how to bake a cakje from my mom, snickerdoodles in home economics, and my uncle taught me how to make hamburgers.
