My constructive criticism is that I think you need to work out her gender area, it does appear to be a little masculine. I think its the shape of the line on the left hip that follows the buckle or outfit, it creates a questionable curve.
Overall I don't not like it.
As for the sexualization of characters, trust me it isn't new. You'd be hard pressed to locate a female character of any age that wasn't in skant or revealing atire. Amano himself drew highly perverse characters and they're found pretty much constantly in any anime or game. That's just the way it is. So chillz home fry - I was teasing.

I like the pic cos it rules.....
But i dont like rydia cos she always did seem a bit curveless and more of a lil girl than a woman (even when shes older she still looks like a kid) overall i'd prefer to see her boobs a bit bigger and for her to be a little more thick set becuase she looks kinda weedy and thin.....but i do think the pose, her expression, face and attire are perfectly suited to the character its just a shame that amano didnt create her to be a bit more of a woman.....

Her little bodice/chestpiece is a little off-center from her breasts, but otherwise a fine picture.

Oh yes, I like this alot. I personally think her breasts are perfect. Her stance, hair and face are just excellent, I seriously see no fault here. Its just beautiful!
Love the face, the only thing I can see is that the legs seem to just root out of her body and don't really have a defined shape to them, maybe it's just the angle or something, they just seem to look like cylinders coming out of a box. I still really love the face. <3.
Is a strong wing blowing on her neck?

I finally realized what it is that bugs me and makes me feel uncomfortable or rather unconvinced about the 'gender area' I menteiond previously.
In the area of circled in red it seems to be unfinised; that is the bikini area or clothing material should be coloured in to complete it. This, I believe, would resolve the problem I felt.

It looks wonderful, but I would open her eyes a little more so she doesn't look so Elvish -- unless that is the look you were going for. I love her hair :).
I don't get the 'gender area' thing, though :confused:
