the golden balls of entite :
what are they??
they're pretty, but they're also scary, suddenly popping up and floating like they own the place (and they probably do) :) i think they're the most ominous-looking enemies in Dalmasca (so far:)

Yup. There are the stronger version of elemental.
Each of them has their own type of element to deal with you.
They need to die.
I think they look fuzzy and cudley...
But then you look at their attributes and find your heart in your throat due to fear...
"Hey, what's that?"
"Couldn't say."
"Hm, use Libra?"
*Libra*
"..."
Vaan went mental with his steal gambit I have set up and nicked something worth 1500 gil off one of them. The best part? We got away alive; all of us.
I shoulda stole from the Rare Mob Lightning Elem that I saw in Giza (The Wet). I was far too scared though.
I find they don't attack me unless i'm fighting something else and they come floating near.
They aggro to magic, and thats all, unless of course you go and swing at them. Same thing goes for Final Fantasy XI.
Well, this one time, there was a Fire Elemental thing on the Sandsea. I saw it and was like "Wtf", had libra on and then REALLY went "WTF", decided not to smurf with it and then for some reason it went BALLISTIC and totally Firaga'd my whole party.
I made the mistake of walking too close to a Salamander Entite. It apparently took offense at this and promptly wiped me out with firaga, forcing me to walk all the way across the freaking sandsea again.
Same crap happened to me but it was with the blue one that uses thundaga in the rainy giza plains. I was killin one of those overgrown frogs with horns when the damn thing came creepin up on me an then ZAP!! everyone was dead i forgot to save so i had to start allllllllll over in the Rabanerste( however you spell it) part when you first start off before you go to the giza plains...:mad2: I almost cried.
They're panic inducing, that's for sure. I might brave one if treasure is involved, even though it might be some worthless 16 gil or a potion, because I can't stand passing up treasure.
Right now leech traps are worse, though. Poo.
Entites are nothing to me.
Entite's location, not Elemental! One (Fire) in Ogir-Yensa, one (Earth) in Westersand (During sandstorm), one (Ice) in Paramina (During heavy blizzard), one (Dark) in Nabreus (Raining), one (Water) in Pharos (Before Second Ascent)/Cerobi Steppe (Raining), one (Wind) in Ozmone (Raining), one (Lightning) in Giza (Heavy rain) and I don't know where the Light Entite is.
hahaha love them when you're happily fighting away and one of them floats on by and the whole screen suddenly comes to a stand-still. :)
never fear, one day maybe we'll get back at them all.
when that day comes im gonna laugh an laugh an laugh!:D
Yeah, those entites can die in a fire(aga).
The one in Ogir-Yensa gave me quite the fine how-do-you-do.
i hate those freakin sons of bitches:mad:
They are annoying is what they are. Damn panelo casted cure on me at the Giza plains while I was roaming next to one of them, so the it starts to attack em of course. I thought maybe I could take it on since it only had 14,000HP (Storm Elemental), but nope, physical damage does jack.
I've been able to take down the fire elementals just north of Nalbina with little difficulty, but I've found myself being whipped by all the other ones I've encountered. Although now, I may be able to take some of them.
I killed my first Entite today. It was glorious.
I do not want to attack the Entites. I am at the point where I can fight them, but there seems to be little reward for fighting them. It'd be a tough battle, too, would it not? Elementals are powerful foes.
What's the best way to damage them?
I would think that would be weak against their opposing element too but I found a fire element and saw that it was weak to water so I used it and it was immune....didnt have its element shield up that it casts later on either.
I just cut them down like everything else. I have found that spells aren't really that much more effective for damage over time.
Is there a point to these things?
