I'll stick with the myriad of walkthroughs on GameFAQs for this one. I see no point in buying an strategy guide for a 10+ year old game that's just now seeing the light of day.
Sorry, what, seven days?
O yeah, that's right, european.
*sits and stares and sits and stares*
The strategy guide was released today. I'll take a quick look if gamestop has some in stock
I hate strategy guides. I rather struggle like a kitten but finish the game like a lion. =P
I can't wait for this game. I had to fight the temptations of playing the Final Fantasy III original (my friend has old imported games and he can also translate them for me. XP) for this release. Of course I could easily just beat the game for Famicom and be done long before the release, but the first play is a once in a life-time experience, and I want to make it good.
For those who haven't been surfing Gamespot, they added quite a few updates in regards to Final Fantasy III a few days ago.

Previews, videos and screenshots.
Anyhow, short ways to go. Going to be good.
I'm going to preorder it sometime this week on eBay. I'll probably have it by the 19th. (I don't want to pay $16 for shipping to have it in a day or two.)
I hope I finish FFIX by the time I get it. :-\

Hey undnce, please don't double post just to bump up a thread. If you really must bump a thread, delete your old post first. Thanks.

...errr....it's out...
I'm going to pick it up today! :cat: :love:
I saw a commercial for it on TV last night. FFVA and FFXII are occupying enough of my free time as it is though.
Sometime soon though.
wow, can't wait to get it. one of the many reasons i got a ds lite :D
Got it yesterday. Too bad I don't really have the time to play it as much.
Btw, when can I unlock the mognet feature?
I'll be getting it tomorrow. I'm super-ultra-mega stoked.
i like it so far =)
I just picked it up. I don't know why I'm not playing it, but I will in a little bit.
I'm two-and-a-half hours in. It was worth the excruciating wait.
(SPOILER)I've now Red Maged and one White Mage'd my party in preparation for the Nept dungeon.
Also, the name changes make me giggle. They aren't incorrect, as they're perfectly fine romanizations but they just look awkward after being used to the Demiforce translation.

Sassoon= Sasune.
Jinn= Djinn
Desh= Desch.
Dorga= Doga

Btw, when can I unlock the mognet feature?
Saronia sounds really weird. How are the other names? For example, Une or Unne? Elia, Eria or Aeria (I saw some soundtrack saying "Aeria, the Prophet of Water")? Sara, Sarah or Salsa? :P Are the party members called Luneth, Arc, Refia and Ingus?
Yep, those are the default names for the four main characters.
Saronia? o_0;

Besides 'Aria' (to answer your question, Sephiroth) and Syrcus, I'm okay with the rest of the names (especially the more accurate Unei).
I could tell they did their best to make the difficulty the same when I died two times inside the Temple of Time and the Cave of Shadows (the splitting cave).
Unei isn't any more accurate than Unne, really. If nothing else, they should have kept it the way it was for the sake of consistency with FFI and FFIX.
