You know what? I liked Quina too.
The EoFF forums don't hate on Quina though.
I liked Quina as well, I only wish he was more involved with the story though. He was even more usless then Kimahri in FFX plot wise. =-/
Beyond that I liked Quina's character concept. Then again I seem to always enjoy the characters everyone else hates like Yuffie and Cait Sith. >.>
Quina hurts my brain. But s/he is the only one who can do the frog catching.
Quina was almost as hot as Brahne. Almost.
So I liked her.
Quina is plain cool, and funny as hell! :D
I love his ATE:s, they always got this unique humour.

I haven't heard many people say they hate, or even dislike Quina. But with every character, you'll get some people hating him/her, and for those who love/like that particular character, the amount of haters may appear bigger than it actually is.
Quina rocks. I laughed so hard when Quina and Vivi got married. "I... so happy"

as a characters hes not perticularly important to the storyline (apart from in disk 2 where he helps you get to the other continent. but that could have been done in other ways.)
despite being not very important to the game. quina was funny and although hes one of my least favourite characters, i dont dislike him. in battle s/he was useful if you spent time developing blue magic skills.
yet another "why does everyone hate" thread. we really need some sort of rule or ban on these. probably not but there all pretty pointless and result in a majority of people liking the accused character.

Quina is funny and useful, but s/he does get irritating at times. And all characters get hated on at one point or another.

Quina was def unique, and I had no problem with it. Strange, but def a cool and unique character. I did have a hrd time devouring some of the enemies though with it later on in the game to learn its Blue Magic abilities.
"I... so happy" was the single best line in any FF ever. It beats 'spoony bard', 'submariner', and 'I'm captain basch', etc. by far.Quote:

But ya know, at first i did hate quinna, just cuz it kinda freaked me out, but it does bring some great humor to the game so eventually i lightened up on poor starving Quinna xD
I didnt like Paine, she was a cheap fusion of Auron and Lulu...however i dont think quinna could replace her simply because how are you going to play dress-up with quinna? It certainly couldnt be in any of the skimpy costumes...eww >_<

I don't really like or dislike Quina, I find it a useless character in the game, but it's comedic relief is somethings welcome, however it can get over the top at times, and annoying, but catching frogs is always fun.
The character design however is absolutely horrible though.

Quina was one of the underrated characters of all time. I'd be friends with Quina any day. I just need to remember not to dress up like a frog...it's been known to happen!

Quina is awesome. She's one of the best characters in the entire series.
Quina rocked, but it kept on leaving my party in dire situations, sometimes leaving me quite short on fire power, that was more than a little annoying, I must say >.< and yeah Vivi x Quina was pretty damn funny. Catching frogs is one of my favourite past times though.

Wow. I'm one of 5% of people, who don't actually like Quina. Before yo kill me, it's not because of his/her charaxter, but rather that s/he's a Blue Mage. I really hate Blue Mages.
Quina adds much variation to the character lineup, its not often you get to use blue magic in a final fantasy game. The only thing I didn't like about quina was how you obtained his/her skills
Blue Magic is what made Quina so unbelievably versatile and powerful. Blue Magic > all other skills in FF9.

and any character that has people arguing over what gender it is has to be a genius concept :-D
