I found it cool, but it kind of took away from the seriousness from it at that point. "Hey I have an idea! Let's have Vaan prance around in his under garments declaring he's Bon Jovi to raise some attention! Come on it'll be fun! Look Vaan's already striping downl he's pumped!"
Actually though, it was cool walking around not knowing at first what people to talk to and then getting pissed when my noteriety was lower by 30 points by Helmet-head...grrrr.
Overall though, I liked it; just a tad weird though on the timing.

It was a boring mini-game type thing for me. It was just pressing square. But the "I'm Captain Basch!" line is defintely going down in FF history alongside "You Spoony Bard!" and "Son of a Submariner!"

But yes I thought that little bit was amusing to do, especially to just see how stupid Vaan looked saying it over and over.
I did turn the volume down though when I went around town parading these phrases so that my relatives didn't think I was a total fruitcake.
I thought it was pretty funny xD. It's nice to see extra things tossed in just for kicks when you least expect it. And now it's a trend that I support.
Yeah i thought it was neat. Though "Im captian Basch fon Ronsenburg of Dalmasca" was a prettyty sounding line.

Yeah I love the seriousness of the game, but I think the best humor part that keeps getting me to crack up is every once in a while where Vaan breaks the mood and asks Fran how old she really is. Seriously, in the Euryt Village Vaan just gets done standing his ground in sticking up for Fran, and Balthear comends him. Then like 3 seconds later Balthear's calling him a dumbass because he insulted Fran again; it's hilarious. Vaan is left standing clueless as everyone gives him a tirade then, haha.
well, I'v warned 37 people that i'm Basch, so it's true. Need to update my sig. :) (Check your usernotes. everyone will hear me before long)

It's in the FAQ. But you get one after you've been a member for 8 months. So you just gotta wait, if your already a member of that long then just go check it out under your CP and edit profile.
But yes, I'm contemplating replaying the game again just for that scene, and perhaps saving right then so I can always have it handy. >.>
