what was yals favorite materia

personaly i liked enemy skill.

its like about 30 spells and abilities without any loss in stats

i have three of them just about mastered.

all of them were cool to me and they proved very useful but i really liked contain cuz you got freeze, break, tornado, and flare which is pretty sweet

I can barely remember any materia. :Oo: I guess I liked cover. Good way to get the characters you hate beat up. Cover it is.

lol i always fave cover to Aeris :p

(she had a great final limit break actually, but i just didnt like her too much)

Recover, just because it is the only magic materia I use on a regular basis because i normally just use basic attacks to kill everything.

HP+ (especially when mastered)
All (especuially when I sell a mastered All)

Bahamut

too many to name.

i like contain and hades cos u can use added effect on ur weapon to rockzors. i think hades tops that one tho

i like mime just on the idea of having like 8 mimes n using ungarmax :D ossome!

I really liked the sound/graphics for Beta and Ultima.

Blue: All, Counter, Final Attack, HP Absorb, MP Absorb, MP Turbo
Purple: CounterAttack, HP Plus, MP Plus

My favorite Materia was probably Restore, especially when combined with All, so that I could cast CureX-All or Regen-All. Other good ones were Counter Attack, Mime and Enemy Skill (for Big Guard, White Wind and Angel's Whisper).

One of my favourite combinations was Final Attack and Life both mastered

Wow out of all the itme s i played through this game i never hought to put hades or contain with added affect

its pretty late in the game for a those to be useful since a game would have planty of other useful matieria.

1: all (mastering an ALL and sell that, will give you 1.4million GIL)
2: Comet (not Comet 2)
3: Bahamut series
4: Ultima

This is my fav-five, not in any particular order:

1. Restore
2. Revive
3. Ultima
4. Knights of Round
5. Phoenix

I've always been a HP Plus junkie, but on a recent playthrough I managed to get Contain for the first time (that darned white chocobo!) and I really liked that as well.

I like W-Item for its cheatirific glitchy goodness. Mm glitchy.

i read recently that any rare items u miss during the game (e.g. contain, (neo) bahamut, etc) can be dug up at bone village. is this true!?

4x cut indeed! I also LOVE the counterattack materia. When it is mastered and equipped to a person, just put the other two in your party on the background.
Ideal when you need to kill much enemies in order to get the next limit level. Only not very handy when you want to mime as much summons or limit breaks as you can do in a battle.

There are indeed things you can dig up in bonevillage when you forgot something. But I don't think that includes materia orbs such as Neo Bahamut or Contain...
Sounds too good to be true..

My favourite combo:

Final Attack (mastered) + Phoenix (mastered) - unstoppable.

I also liked:

• Enemy Skill
• All
• Ultima
• Counter Attack
• Restore

So many more but can't think of any...

Enemy Skill: I'm such a Blue Magic fanatic that I mastered all four. BTW, try casting Death Force on your party and Death Dealers and watch the fun as they try out Roulette and nobody dies. I also think that DF will allow you to use Kiss of Death without a game over.

HP <-> MP: Very underrated, but in combination with Cover makes learning second tier limit breaks a snap, even against weak foes.

Mime: Master Summon + W-Summon + 2 Mime -> 4 KOTR/round = Dead Emerald.

One word: Knights of the Round!

What materia, excluding the following of Mime after Omnislash, can do as much damage? We also exclude combos. That's right, folks. You COULD use combos to make summons do more damage than KotR, but you can make KotR do 4x damage with Quadra Attack and Mime that over and over and over.

And that's why I love FF7. I'd like to see Eden do damage.

No you can't. KotR isn't compatible with Quadra Magic.

Damn, sorry 'bout that. I thought it was. Nonetheless, you can still Mime KotR.
