For me, Luigi is the better brother because he gets my sympathy vote. Everybody loves Mario (except Bill Gates and Ken Kutaragi) but Luigi never gets enough love :(

There's hardly any difference between them. Heck, with most of the early games in the series, they're either twins or clones of each other. I didn't vote for either.

Whenever my brother and I would play, I'd always be Luigi. He seemed like the younger brother (like I am) so I sorta identify with him (except for the Italian thing).

I've pretty much always been using Luigi. I wanted to use Mario, but it was a tradition for my sister to choose Mario, so I had to adjust. >.> So I made myself like Luigi more than Mario.
