every hero gets character development.
I have never attacked an Alice again since episode 17 (I think).
over all the characters, Takius was probably the best, she intertwined with the villain so perfectly... and she became a Sage, my favourite class from the game version.
in fact, they all intertwined so very well with at least 1 villain.
