Do you generally try to be funny (here, at least) or does what you say just amuse people?
Well, I've tried to be funny before, especially when I was a noob, but I just stopped trying because it turns out I'm not funny, on the Internet or in real life. I guess my sarcasm can be funny, but I'm not very sarcastic on the fora. I'm generally funny in #eoff, I guess, but there I don't try to hard to be =P
Whatever comes, comes.

We all have a different definition of humor and what makes us laugh. Believe me, what makes me laugh, only makes like six other people laugh.

I don't try to be funny. It is just a natural occurance. Although a lot of people can miss my sense of humor since it generally falls into the "overly sarcastic and inappropriate" range. Also because I use the exact same tone of voice for everything I say. People often point this out when asking me if I am serious about something. It's difficult to tell.
Most people who do not get the jokes I tell and take me entirely serious have a problem with the fact that I will joke about anything and everything. I have almost no qualms about joking with any subject at large. This angers people most of the time. Which just adds to it, really. My goal is mainly to piss people off and get reactions. That is humor.
I'm the queen of sarcasm, unfortunately only some experience my sarcasm. It's a talent I have outside of the forum, I'm sure of it.
I try, oftentimes too hard. but whatever, que sera sera.
I'm more into vitriol and personal humiliation.
I'm very sarcastic... but nobody ever realizes I'm being sarcastic, so it always fails and stuff.
I'm either less or more funny offline depending on the exact correlation between humor and its effectiveness through a text-based medium. For the time being, however, I will continue a pursuit in the general direction of perceived humor.

Sometimes. Usually when I'm too out of my mind to be funny.
If I'm alert and sane and competent enough to seriously make a decent joke, I'll usually say something more meaningful. Or I'll quote song lyrics.
No, I don't try to be funny... if you're a funny person it comes naturally.
Anyway, I tend to be very sarcastic.. sometimes to the extend where some people don't get it.

I think everybody else would pretty much agree that I'm one of the serious members of this forum.
I don't try to be funny, some things that I say might appear amusing to others.
Most of the time I make people laugh due to my lack of knowledge with dirty minds. Which is true, I'm not quite tainted enough to know certain phrases or when someone is talking about sex.

But in the real world I'm very sarcastic and have a very dry humour.
Both of which I love.
I try to be clever more often than funny. Consider this analogy: There is a large crowd looking at a juggling clown. I am not the clown. I am not in the crowd. Rather, I'm looking at the clown from over by the soda machine, so I get a different (and sugar-coated) look at the clown. Occasionally, I'll say something funny, but its usually due to my different vantage point.
I don't try to be funny. I end up being unfunny naturally.

I don't try an make funny posts, an when people do it's blatantly obvious that they have tried, which is all the more shameful since they're never funny. If you have to try an be funny, you're not funny. Everyone thinks their a comedian nowadays, the amount of people that claim their witty an amusing is ridiculous. An sarcasm is overused, overrated, an rarely put to good use.
