er...(i had no topic in mid, ajust wanted to post anything) band, who wants to be part of band? who believes that they could MAKE IT in a band, and be famous?

haha oh, i forgot to answer my own questions! i would wanna be in a band, and my ambition IS to make it, but i dunno if it will happen (i'm pretty determined though, but know the odds are against me)
I would love to be the song writer for a band!But i cant do anything to be in a band, although im in the choir(we sing random songs not hyms)

One of my friends got into scratch record playing, so he decided he was really good at it and decided all the rest of us needed to pick up instruments and form a band. I was made the lead guitarist for a while despite the fact that I've never held a guitar in my life and was expected to learn from never touching one. >.>

I couldn't be in a band because I'd get really nervous on a stage and probably pass out on top of the audience. I really wouldn't want to be famous either, because there's just too much ridiculous that comes with it these days. I'd rather be related to someone rich and famous and leech off them.
Edit: But your first question gets a solid yes.
I've done some singing before.
But we never really made it. You can be excellent at what you do in that industry, and, in the end, success is really a matter of luck. I know from some of the great musicians I've met.

I would like to be in a band someday, yes. For the minute I am solo acoustico. But yeah, a drummer 'n' bassist and stuff would be good to have around, so yeah. Started playing shows (Well, I've played one so far, but there shall be more to come! >_>) and it is the greatest thing ever. The only way from here is up!
oh cool. hope it goes well :up: the only problem with the area around me, is that i know 1 drummer, by cousin, who i was in a band with, but i live in a different town, with no buses going to his, so i could hardly rehearse
Ahhh now thats a shame, my brother was supposed to be in a band but it collapsed because of that reason, but that doesnt meant he same wil happen to you so good luck!!

After going to a talent show last night and seeing some really great bands perform I'm considering it. It looked like they had a great time doing it. However I would never persue it, because I hate singing in public and I don't play instruments. The only thing close I have to ever being related to bands is directing music videos.
If I had any musical talent I would prefer to pursue a solo career and not care about whether I was internationally famous. Having a small group of fans would be nice. I would just like to make music for its own sake.
I am a solo guitarist.

If I was in a band, I'd have to be the frontman with no musical talent. Yeah. You know the one. That doesn't play any intruments or anything. The one that runs around with the microphone and tries to look cool. That'd be me. :cool:
