EoFF Fire Emblem Game

Well, as I'm working on a fan-game of Fire Emblem on the NSider Forums, I think I'll start something like that here. Only EoFF themed. I'm not sure of which engine to start out with, but I think I can make a working game if I put some effort into it.

Of course, I can't do this all by myself. So I will need help from people. I need people to help out with:

Spriting
Animation
Finding an Engine
Programming
Script
Mugs

I have not determined how long it will be yet, but I've got a range of 40-50 chapters down, not including Gaiden (side) chapters.

So, are you people willing to help me out with this endeavor?

Also, if you want to make an appearance in this game, you'll need to do the following.

1. Decide if you want to be unpromoted or prepromoted (promoted when you come into the game).

2. Decide on which unit you want to be.

Skl is accuracy as well as chance to use a special skill(in Path of Radiance)
STR changes to MAG for mages, except in Path of Radiance cause some characters could use both types of weapons

All rates are rounded to the nearest multiple of 5.

By the way, I've already determined who our Jeigan and Lords will be. Don't ask to be one.

Also, the archetypes, for those unaware of them:

Gato: Late-game character with awesome stats (Athos, Giffca, Naesala, Tibarn)
Est: Late-game character that starts at a low level, but excellent growth rates (Nino, Astrid)
Kain: Early-game cavalier with red armor with high strength (Sain, Kyle, Kieran)
Abel: Counterpart of Early-game cavalier with green armor with high skill and speed (Kent, Forde, Oscar)
Jeigan: Early-game paladin that appears good at first, but has either poor starting stats or poor growth rates (Marcus, Seth, Titania)
Oguma: Early-game mercenary with balanced growth rates (Raven, Gerik)
Nabarl: Early-game myrmidon with great speed and skill growths, but poor strength growths (Guy, Joshua)
Davros: Mid-game pirate/brigand with poor skill and resistance, but excellent strength and speed (Dart, Gonzales)

k thanks for the info...I just feel like such a noob since I have no idea what your talking about. On a offnote if you haven't noticed I found the accuracy thing on my quiz and filled it out...

I'm currently working on my characters sprites and will post the spreadsheet of it when I finish, may take me a little while but I think it looks good so far.

I would quite enjoy being in a Fire Emblem game. However, I am unaware of which stats mean what. I don't know if I'd be making myself over-powered or not, and as a Wizzrobe, I believe I should be over-powered. Even so, I'll give this a shot.

what do you need help with. About the best thing I'd be good at is editing the fire emblem sprites (the GBA ones, I have all of em). BUT I also have finals until wednesday of next week, so they won't really get worked on til after that, but of course, then I have a month off for break.

No clue. you'll need to do some serching.
I would say Rpg maker:Xp, but you'll need to rip it up and replase everything to make it a Fire-emblim like game. Probley too much work.
You also need to know ruby scripting to do anything big.

Also, there may not be much I can actually do (due to my total illiteracy of programing) but I will do what I can to help you on this.

Now, I've made some final decisions on a few aspects.

I have decided that there will be 45, give or take, chapters. I'm not putting in Gaidens unless I can think of a good reason to. Also, I've decided on a character limit of about 65 people.

As plot goes...will it be based on EoFF or the Fire Emblem world?

If its going to be based on EoFF...we might as well keep our member names.

Well, there's more than one continent in the Fire Emblem games. There's five (Magvel, Elibe, Jugdral, Akaneia, and Tellius).

Just a notice, but I took a look at my system for determining growths, and I've realized that all of us have growth rates that are way, way too high. So, I'm changing it.

Dude I would love to be in your game soooooooo much bro!!! Here's my stuff:

1. Decide if you want to be unpromoted or prepromoted (promoted when you come into the game).Unpromoted.

2. Decide on which unit you want to be.Monk.

3. Fill this out:

Rate the following parts of yourself on a scale of 1-10.

How much stamina do you have?4
How strong are you (ignore if you're a magical unit)?
How smart are you (ignore if you're a physical unit)?7
How accurate are you in aiming, shooting, etc.?5
How fast are you?6
How lucky are you?8
How well do you resist pain from physical injuries (scrapes, broken bones, bruises)?3/4
How well do you resist enviromental conditions (extreme cold, extreme heat, etc.)?6

4. Rate your physical size from 1 to 20.From one to twenty I'd say 11. Or bout
