I know these threads really aren't allowed but it's for a REALLY good cause!
Hello everyone

Today, Bristol-Myers Squibb, the pharmaceutical monolith that charges nearly $1,000 for a 30 day supply of one of its HIV/AIDS medications, is donating $1 to the National AIDS Fund for each person who simply visits their website and "virtually lights a candle." The tally is over 1 million now.

If you click the link, light the candle, close the window, and do it all again, you can light as many candles as you want. I've done it several times now.

There's a tally thing in the upper left corner and it does go up if you light a candle repeatedly, but I don't know if the people running the site itself use that same tally. In any case, I don't think it would hurt to light a few of them :)

Friggin cheapasses. Thats pretty sad ya know? They're trying to make themselves look good cuz they're being so "generous", but to a company like that 100 grand might as well be toilet paper. But as we all know, pharmacy/drug companies dont give a crap about human lives, they just care about making money.

I lit a candle anyway. Because I like to BURN things. *firey eyes*
