When I was younger I thought I would grow up as a fairy. I believed that my shoulder blades were my wings waiting to sprout.
Later I wanted to work in a hospital, I do that now as i've almost finished training as a midwife.

I didn't want to grow up. Still don't. I hate coffee and going to bed at reasonable hours. I'm not reasonable dammit.
When I was very young, I wanted to be Batman. Not kidding! I wanted to build a big batcave under my house with a bunch of computers and high-tech stuff, a Batmobile and a costume like we see in the movies. And I was going to to do all of the superhero things that Batman does in the movies.
When I outgrew that, the next profession that I recall was a person that does CGI for blockbuster movies, and later I wanted to do it for video games. Then for the longest time (until recently), I wanted to be a priest, and even went to seminary for one semester. Then I wanted to be a monk.
Now I'm not sure what I want to do. I'm leaning towards writer, but history scholar and philosophy professor also sound appealing.
I wanted to be a doctor, then a psychologist, then a novelist, then a journalist...and now, when I actually have to start preparing for a job, I don't know what to do :p

I think it went something like... cardiologist (seriously, when I was about five years old I decided I was going to be a cardiologist), firefighter, artist, author, horse trainer, vet, chemist, and animator.
Went into college studying film because I figured it was the closest thing we had to animation.
Currently about to graduate college with a degree in film, and I no longer know what I want to be when I grow up.
I wanted to be a writer, musician, and most of all, a mother. Now I don't really seem to want those things. Maybe I'll publish a book or something and maybe I'll have the urge to be a mother someday. But not right now.
