It Needs A Sequel.

Now I know that the gaming market is over flooded with game sequels, but yet I still want to ask this question.

Which games do you think need/deserve a sequel?

The biggest reason I ask is this. Recently I re-played through Shenmue 2 and it just kills me that Shenmue 3 hasn't been announced yet. It has such a great story but they just leave you there with no ending whatsoever. I just want to see this series finished up already and see Ryo's story come to a close.

Any one else want a sequel to a particular game(s)?

Starcraft.

Warcraft 3. I want to know what happens after to Illidan.

Tales of Symphonia or Abyss either could have lovely direct sequels. With the same casts :jess:.

Let's see....I can't think of anything. Most games that I love already have sequels up the wazoo. Oh, Xenosaga Ep. III's ending definitely requires an Episode IV damnit.

Edit: I've never beat Vagrant Story, but I've heard it calls for a sequel big time. I don't want to hog all the sequel love for myself, so whatever I'll say Vagrant Story for that fanbase.

We need the following.

• Vagrant Story 2
• Lunar 3
• A third game set in the world of Ico and Wander
• Metroid 5

Diablo 2 needs a sequel.

Oh, and Final Fantasy VII. That really needs a sequel.

Completely agree with those two. I still put Lunar 3 in the google seach hoping some news of it will come.

Megaman Legends 3, come on Capcom stop with the X series and make a Legends 3 already.

Vagrant Story 2 (is they also rereleased the original or something that'd be great for a lot of people)
New Ico/Wander game
Megaman Legends 3 (the first Legends is my favourite Megaman of all time)

All need to be made post haste...

Final Fantasy Tactics 2 (I know there's the Lion War game and the FFTA2 coming up but that's not good enough. A sequel to the original FFT on PS, please)

not necessarily a sequel, but if they made another game in the ff7 universe, that'd be great

Xenosaga 4 definately. They could do quite a bit more with where they ended it.

Guilty Gear 3 (Please stop with these side games and make a real one)
Fianl Fantasy Tactic 2 (It needs a direct sequel, not a spin-off)

Vagrant Story 2 (A lot more people have said that than I expected)
Chrono Break
Diablo 3
Metroid 5
Bionic Commando (Any game that has Hitler's head exploding at the end, is automatic winnage)

They need a new Strider game, too. :D

Einhänder needs a sequel. I'd like to see Chrono Break and a Suikoden game that actually has something to do with Harmonia as well. And while it's reaching, give us another Battletoads game.

Oh, and RO2 alpha needs to sodding start already

There actually was a third Jumping Flash! game, entitled Robbit Mon Dieu, which was underwhelming by all accounts. But if any series deserves a second chance, this is definitely it.

many video-games on my list. but i'd like to see one for Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

Diablo II, Starcraft, and Zone of the Enders II could all use a sequel.

And another Disgaea game I wouldn't say no to. Ditch Adell, bring back Laharl-sama!

While Square Enix is in their sequel mode, I'd love to play another game in the world of Final Fantasy IX, featuring Zidane and company, but in all likelihood it would tarnish the wonderfulness of the original. They really shouldn't make a sequel to it, but the kid in me still wants one. :p

I think Eternal Darkness deserves a sequel, and I heard rumblings that it might be coming after Too Human. And Golden Sun 3 is long overdue.

I haven't been on this site that long, but I've definitely been here long enough to see your love for X-2. Don't deny it, just go with it Roto.

I tolerate X-2 because the gameplay is good. That's not the same as wanting a sequel. :P I mean, my favourite game ever is FF VI and I don't want a sequel to that.

Yep definitely! I never played Ico myself but Shadow of The Collosus was amazing and so was Vagrant Story.

Starcraft (Although honestly Dawn of War does a pretty darn good job filling the hole of sci-fi RTS)

Diablo (World of Diablo would be teh win)

I don't think it deserves or needs one, but I want more Killer7. I want want want!

I guess that's all I've got. Might as well jump on the Vagrant Story 2 bandwagon.
