I know way back when this game came out at first it was on Super Nintendo and was an 80.00 game cartridge. I know its been re-released now but what is it on? Is it part of the anthology or has it been released on GBA or dual screen?

It was in both Anthology on the PS, the SNES, and soon to be on the Game Boy Advance in febuary.
Ooh! February! I'm glad it won't take longer.
sadly it isnt in the australian anthology...
PAL got FFVI, just as a stand-alone game.
Thanks for the info. So is the one coming out for the advance supposed to be a straight port from the Anthology or are they gonna spruce it up or add some extras?
2 additional Characters, Additional Espers including Gilgamesh, presumably more spells, and a bonus boss. Possibly Bonus dungoen like with IV and V.
I'm glad they're putting it on the advance instead of dual screen.
I'm thinking I need to wait till that one comes out and buy that version.
I hadn't heard about any new characters...more information?
Predictably, the new characters were a hoax. So never mind that bit.
There is, indeed, a new dungeon.
I could see two new characters that could only be used in the bonus dungeon, but anywhere else wouldn't make all that much sense. Unless Banon shows up out of the blue all "S'up guys?" and whatnot. But I doubt that.
Not even the GOLD ones?
There are GOLD discs.

Oh well, the new characters really didn't interest me. I'm more excited about Gilgamesh and Leviathan.
Maybe it sold for $80 in some places and $60 in others, because I don't remember seeing it for sale for more than $60 (except for in those mail-in games store ads in magazines like Game Informer, which were rip-offs anyways).
Yeah I remember when it came out..It was like $60, I kept asking the guy behind the counter if I could read the back, and remember learning about the war of the Magi...
I was amazed but never owned the game until anthologies came out..
WOW, you just got to play it then after all that time, man i'm glad you finally got to see what you were missing  .
