Username origin?

Mine just came from my manga character Astron and my username from another forum, which was Astro Knight. Take "Astron" and slap an "ite" on the end and you get my username now (and a pun on "Astro Knight").

I know there's a Wiki page dedicated to name meanings but hardly anyone has posted names on there or anything. It's like a flipping desert. :p

It's a pun involving a Proto-Germanic morpheme, Freud, and a religiously significant syllable.

I like Suikoden II.

Nobody knows what a LunarWeaver is or where the hell it came from. Not even me :(

My name on other forums was Cim, which stood for crazy insane maniac at the time... so the Cim thing caught on ...then a bunch of my good friends on the forum started calling me Cimanim for some reason...so that stuck too. and cimminy cricket...*shrug*

My name stemmed from the lack of thinking of a good name.

Also, don't you have to wait a certain amount of time before requesting a name change? Because I REALLY want one. I hate typing all of the numbers and lines...

Um.... my name was nothing but just a bunch of random letters put together. I mean I don't know how to pronounce it. Most of the time I don't know just as long as it looks good.:cool:

My friend and I decided to make names that look cool when we wre making names for battle hunter so we chose whavter letters looked cool in the writting. And then came Vikeve.

I signed up for this website only a few weeks after I made the name so it stuck on me.:)

I like summons. Leviathan is my favorite summon.

I was RikkuYuna89 about 3 years ago. BoB gave me the nickname Rye in #eoff, and it stuck, so I changed my EoFF username to Rye. :p

Some ten years ago or so when I was into Redwall and I'd first discovered the internet, I made a roleplaying character named Pikestaff. The name has just... stuck... though I often shorten it to Pike.

Even my real-life friends call me Pike or Pikestaff on occasion. It's amusing and silly but I kinda like it cause I'm a geek like that.

(I should note that my first name on this forum was Gir, (taken from the Invader Zim character) which was a name I also used for a brief time on various forums... but I've decided I like Pike/Pikestaff much better.)

Chemicals are always undergoing constant change depending on a diverse amount of variables; temperature, environment, neighbouring chemical compounds...

It just seemed to be the most suitable screen name that divulged my relation to the EoFF message boards if not the world.

When I was like 9, I always called myself Zelda on forums etc. It stuck, even though I dislike it. It seemed wierd calling myself anything different. I changed it to Zeldy to not appear a hopeless Zelda fanatic, and have SOME individuality.

Duality, I got bored with my previous username (Aurons Ghost, which I chose cos I idolised Auron from FFX for some reason and liked the irony of sticking ghost on the end) and had the idea that wave / particle duality from my lectures was a good thing to change my name too.

Trouble is, I don't like my username now but need to wait another few months to change it...

TrowaBartonIV - This was Diablo 2 characters name at the time I registered so it's what I used.
TsukasaIV - I love .HACK/sign and I decided to keep the IV thing going.
Bert - It's one of my many nicknames.
Escobar - need I say why?
Escobert - nik0tine told me to change my name to this.
ShlupBert - Flying Mullet stole my soul and turned me to the dark army.
Psychic Hornet - This was changed for the elections.
TrowaBartonIV ^_^ - I wanted it without the ^_^ but kishi kept that in, I guess he computed my PM wrong.

As of my name, it is the name of a character in a story I am writting, I resymboled myself as that character in the story, so yeah. Owen Macwere is my fav name and I wont change it, only to something cooler. :D

I have no idea why I have this username......I don't even like Reno. :bigsmile:

White Swan was an election name for the Super Hero party, off of the super hero that Amelia became in The Slayers.

I've been thinking of changing my username, but I'm too lazy to do anything about it.

Combination of Ryan and Chase. I'm Ryan, and at the time I made the name my best friend was named Chase. Prior to this name I was Dark_Paladin_Cecil because I really like Final Fantasy IV and thought a combination of Cecil's two forms would have been sweet.

I'm called Lunatic Pandora everywhere else (that or Pandora Projects, or just Panda). But I got sick and tired of that name and decided I should have a less ...overused...name. So then I took the least likely Final Fantasy...um...NPC...and made him/her/it into me!

I like shopkeepers in green robes anyway. >D

I pulled it out of my ass.

Mine is the name of the main male character off of Gundam Wing, the initials at the end stand for Neo Wing Zero Cutsom, a modified version of Heero's Gundam.

To be quite honest, I don't remember exactly what made me go with Ouch!, but I think it had to do with a picture of a guy getting kicked in the crotch.

I'm a Golden Chocobo so the name choice canme natural.

And that's how all the trouble started.

Kasai, Japanese for Fire. I thought the Latin, Ignus or Igni for fire was boring so I decided to use the Japanese term.
Draco, Latin for dragon. I didn't like the Japanese for dragon so I used this.

mine's a derivitive of the name of an angel in a middle eastern religion

I registered with the name King Bahamut, and stuck with that for a good 3 years. People generally called me KB, though, and Meredy's !e2j thing in #eoff led me to the Japanese translation of kilobyte (KB), Kirobaito.

I've also used the names Walker Texas Ranger, KillerBunni, and KeroBeros. There might be others, but I don't remember.

Oh yeah, my old username here when I first joined was Chibi Chocobo. I picked it because I thought it was funny, and because I wanted a name with some alliteration in it.

This first thing I joind online was zone.com. I wanted a name that suited me but I couldnt think of one, my favourate game of the moment was Timesplitters2, my favourate characters names were all taken! So I used the crappy cropolite, then that was taken, so I used The_Cropolite1, a classic.

My first forum was then a Timesplitters one, by then I had grown used to The Cropolite, but it sounded to plain, I wanted a little crazy twist to it, but I couldnt think of one clearly so I shortened it to crop. And thats what it stays like.

I never use a capital for it, and if you ever see anyone called "crop" or "cropolite1" (it has to have the '1' on the end) it is most likely me!

Suprisingly, it's my name. :jess:

Well, Dark Messenger, is from FF9 and I have been using it for quite some time on the Internet. And 'The Real' part is because someone already used in it in the Forum.

Some guy made a game called Gyrus and I played it and liked the name so I stole it.

I was going to use Kermit, but for some reason I reversed it and changed some letters.

I was prolly trying to be artsy or something.

Mine is two fold.

The Malikye comes from a name I used to write under. No I didn't have anything published if you find something. It was just what a used to sign at the bottom of all the poetry I wrote.

The 187 comes from Action Quake 2. It was voice in the game that used to say 1 8 7 every time you killed someone. It was used as a taunt. Plus most times the name Malikye is taken and a number is suggested to be added to the end so I just tack it on by default now.
