Ninja's are better than pirates anyways, but with those groups it's a blowout... funny enough faris becomes a ninja most of the times I play haha.

No way can a team with bikke on it win against a team with Edge.
Bikke is a wimp (he doesn't even fight!) Leila's nothing special, and Faris, strong as the lass is, is but one person.
Edge is a prince with some awesome elemental abilities, Shadow is just awesome (and he has a dog) and Yuffie... is nothing special (unless you count her limit breaks).
Final Fantasy isn't one for Pirates.
Though I'll Go Pirate. Just Cheese out Faris with that sword that makes you go first and Gill Toss.

Shadow is what did it for me. With any luck, Interceptor would show up and pull a "Take Down" or "Wild Fang" on Bikke and his crew, and within seconds, Bikke would be saying "Okay, ya got me. Take my ship." and then Shadow would promptly slit Bikke's throat and then take his ship, and while on board, he'd kill Edge and Yuffie in their sleep and keep all the spoils for himself.

Sadly, I haven't played FFXII. I live in europe, you see, and I don't want to spoil the game for myself.

As cool as Faris and Leila are, I'm gonna have to go with Ninjas. Ninja is just a plain cooler class, in any case.

I think Team Ninja easily wins here, especially with Bikke being on Team Pirate. Replace him with Jack Sparrow or some cool pirate character from FFXII (that game has pirates, right?), so Team Pirate would even stand a chance.

Bikke seems like a terribly bad weak point, but you all seem to forget that Bikke also has 9 pirates to aid him.
