I think that not enough people read these books. Everyone I ask says "No, I've never heard of dragonlance" Anyone else read dragonlance, besides me?

I have read the vast majority of them because they are really well written, but I prefer the Forgotten Realms.
I have read all of the Weis/Hickman books except the very last one they apparently released recently. They are among my favorites. Death Gate Cycle is good too. I have read each many times.
I've read several and am curently working on more.
I'm glad i'm not the only one who reads dragonlance here:)
Whats it about?
I own a lot of Dragonlance books, and have read even more. They're fun.
It's about these adventures that the main characters go on, Names are: Tanis, Caramon, Flint, Raistilin, Tika, Tas, Riverwind, and Goldmoon. Is that it?
Laurana, Sturm, and Kit for main characters.
I have no idea what you're talking about.
I felt they were meh.
I would read the Legend of Huma, then Chronicles, then Legends, then Summer of Flame, then Soulforge, then the War of Souls.
I've read a few of them but I prefer robert jordan's wheel of time and the forgotten realms stuff.
yeah i've read dragonlance...i've read all kinds of D&D books...i prefer FR, like most people...but not salvatore...his are best in graphic novel form, and i think they've done the same with some dragonlance books too
My cousin reads FR but I told him Dragonlance is better, but....to tell you the truth I haven't read any yet. I think I'll borrow some of his.
heheheh yeah well...it all depends on the writer, but the setting is different that's the thing, somewhat different rules of the universe...i like FR dragons better than DL dragons to be sure
Yes, I used to be very interested in the Dragon Lance series until Lord of the Rings came along.
They're are good books, though. So far I think I've read three of them. Can't remember which ones, though.
I like Soulforge after Legends. And yes, Legend of Huma is one of the few non-Weis/Hickman books that is a must-read.
DragonLance is a great fantasy series (the ones by Weis/Hickman anyway). The only series better than it is Weis/Hickman's Death Gate Cycle books.
What about the second generation I read that after legends...is that where it falls?
The best Weis and Hickman books I have read I found to be the Darkblade trillogy.
I was thinking about getting into Dragonlance, but which one should I start on?
The Chronicles: Dragons of Autumn Twilight, Dragons of Winter Night, and Dragons of Spring Dawning.
Dragonlance and The Death Gate Cycle are my two very favourite series of books. Ben25, if you haven't read the Death Gate Cycle, you should give it a try when you're in between Dragonlance books. Especially if you like Fizban. ;)
I forget which trilogy I read. It was one of the Weis and Hickman ones, but I cannot remember. It is with Raistlin and that priestess who goes blind...
I meant to get into the series more but I never did.
Where did this thread come from?
Dragonlance is my super fave!
