I'm not going to take the time to PM people unless it's important. If I get PMd then I'll PM back, but if I don't like a person I'll just ignore them. :)

I would say that I have got more of this stuff than I have sent. At least they are being honest.
It's extremely rare for me to actually become angry at someone. But if I were to, I don't see how sending a nasty PM would benefit me at all.
I mass send these to everyone.
I've been sent 3 or 4 of these PMs before. xD I would never send them though, it's sad and mean.
I've sent one to Rye before.

There have been many times when I've wanted to do that, but feared getting a warning/being banned way too much to actually do it, though.

If I was a mod and I saw somebody send a message like that, and, you know, it was obviously a seriously angry and aggressive pm, the sender would be the one banned. Straight up. What a load of insulting, incurteous garbage to have to deal with. Nobody needs that.

Aside from that one thread ages ago dedicated to why I suck, I've never been involved in anything of the sort.

not on here I haven't and don't recieve them either. I have however (prior to becomming a mod there) sent them on another forum and recieved tons since becomming a moderator, generally from the same few people who everytime I go to an admin and have them banned they get un-banned again by another admin....that place has bad admin team for forums but they're great coders and designers for game.

I've never even considered doing that. There have been one or two members that I don't particularly like, but even if I hated a member on here (which I don't at the moment), what would be the point of insulting them?
I haven't gotten a rude PM like that myself. If I did, I would report it to the staff, who would likely then warn the person. There's no point in joining a forum to do that.
I once got a threatening email from an EoFF user, and I have no idea why. He cursed at me a heap, insulted me, said I was racist (ok, implied :P), all that jazz. I had never spoke to him before. He only made one post. Oh well. Life goes on! :)

PMs? What's the point in cutting someone down if it isn't public? I use pubically accessible threads or usernotes if I want to insult someone.
I would never do that! Noone really bothers me and if they did ignoring them would be a better idea than provoking them ^_^
No, I don't, and I don't think anyone has ever sent me PMs or user notes like that. If I don't like someone and s/he gets overly annoying, I prefer to just put that person on the Ignore List. I think flaming someone via PMs or user notes is a bit childish, not to mention it doesn't solve anything, and it might lead to the offender getting warned or banned.Quote:
