I'm pretty good usually.
Whether that's because I have a wicked brain or because a lot of 'mysteries' are so heavily cliche.... well, now that's a mystery

It's pretty rare when I'm completely right. I'll sometimes get a few things right on, but really for the most part I'm not that great.

Same with me. When it comes to TV, I very often get mysteries nearly or completely right. It's not because I'm a genius (although...), but because I've seen quite a lot of movies and TV shows, and the same patterns pop up again and again.Quote:

I like to think I'm pretty good. Though I try to avoid using the 'genre-savvy' approach so I end up overthinking simple/clichéd mysteries a lot.
I say I'm okay because while most of the time I can predict how a story will go no problem, I'd say that's more due to genre-savy and the fact that i've spent waaaaaay too much time on TV Tropes. Actual cleverness and deductive skills - I'd say I'm pretty average at those.
