I've been playing Rune Factory for the past few days and I can't stop. There's just too much to do. Farming, fishing, mining, dating, lumberjackering, spelunking, demon slaying, ect.
So what's the most addictive game you've played?

Of all the games I played, Animal Crossing was the only one to grip me with such a ritualistic obsession that I would, for a time, get up early before school just to check on my town at 6 am, and come home and play it for hours on end. This period didn't last for more than a couple months, but when it had me, it had me.
In terms of raw play time, nothing could compete with Super Smash Bros. Melee or Halo 2, though I bet Halo 3 and Super Smash Bros. Brawl will eventually surpass them.
Each new Final Fantasy, Metal Gear and Syphon Filter consumes my soul from the moment the disc leaves the case.
Harvest Moon: Magical MElody.
That game is worse then crack.
And the side effects arguably worse.
Like Big D, each new Final Fantasy. Also each new Tekken game seems to stick me to the couch for a good while.
Tekken 3.
I remember i had to give the game to my friend,in order to be able to study for my exams.
Star Wars: Battlefront splitscreen
Any new entry in the King of Fighters, Tekken, Virtua Fighter and Street Fighter series.
SCO, actually did a month of virtually 16 hour days of just playing SCO every day for a month.
Currently, I'm finding myself being more and more addicted to Final Fantasy XI
Tony Hawks pro skater 2 and Tenchu 2, back in the day.
Other than that, GTA Vice City.
Trauma Center is a huge addiction for me.
World Of Warcraft years ago, of course every new final fantasy or any good rpg... And FPS like UT and CS or any of the GTAs.
Diablo II in terms of longevity, I can still go back and play for a time.
In terms of constant playing and replaying, my guess would be any fighting game.
Mostly Dead Or Alive,Soul Calibur and Tekken have my soul.
World of Warcraft is high up there.
But the really, really hardcore ones are Morrowind, Alpha Centauri, Civilization 2 and 3, and X-Com. Those five combined probably account for a significant percentage of all my gaming time ever.
