Ice cream: in a cone or in a cup?

Which do you prefer?

Waffle cones are the best. Stacked high with fruit or berry flavours (or rum raisin).

Cone cos its just natural.

Eating from a cup isn't bad by any means, and it's a more relaxing experience. But at the end of the day you just can't beat a cone.

I fail to see the 'from the tub' option, which is pretty much how I eat ice cream. More seriously: I don't mind cones, but they get rather dry. You have a great experience up top but then once most or all of the ice cream is gone, you're left with... flaky cone? Nah.

With the cup you get the part you really want, the ice cream, in a handy cup so when it inevitably starts melting your hand doesn't become a gooey mess.

Cones! Cake cones, specifically.

Cones are awesome, but I can never eat it fast enough to not have it drip all over the place. So therefore, cups.

Unless it's an edible cup, clearly the winner is a cone.

Cones, no contest. You can have more food or less food for the same exact price. No-brainer.

Bowl

I prefer a cup, especially on a hot day so I can take my time with it instead of having it spill over the sides every time i take a bite once it's melted into the cone. If I plan on eating it quickly or it's cold enough that I don't particularly have to worry about it melting, a cone is acceptable

There are a few cones that taste okay, but most are bland and they're messy like others have mentioned.

Who the hell eats ice cream out of a cup? Why would you want some stanky ball sweat in your ice cream? Put that trout in a bowl.

Waffle cone, biatch. If you're going with ice cream might as well go all the way.
