They're the same, though.

It's true, they're much too small in the remake. I can't believe the horrific censorship!

In the original FFVII, Cloud's eyes are enormous. They're clearly at least the size of baseballs, thanks to the anime aesthetic. But in the remake, they've been BRUTALLY CENSORED and replaced with tiny orbs that are barely the size of golf balls and wouldn't look out of place on the average human.

I simply CANNOT RECALL any other time when an iconic pair of organs got so radically redesigned for the sake of artistic sensibilities.
