I'm so happy for this addition plus finally a projected time frame for when we'll get it! The officially announced it in 2013, but supposedly started working on the story in 2006. But if we go by 2013 that's still 5 years. next year that's 6 years of development blarg
I'll admit, I haven't really been a Kingdom Hearts fan since 358 Days/2 (isn't that how it's supposed to be read?), but the trailer here cracked the icy exterior of my heart. Helps that Toy Story is one of my favorite films of all time, and the plot here is actually brand new vs being a retread.
Before people tell me that I have a lot of catching up to do, I have a decent understanding of the events of BBS and DDD, and I'm hoping those are the ones I actually need to know. All in due time, I guess
Oh my Christ, this looks gorgeous. I definitely need to get around to buying the 1.5/2.5 HD Remix before this - I've only played the first two games but that was so long ago, I can hardly remember any of the story. If I'm being honest I wasn't planning on going back to this series but after watching this it would be a crime not to.

I noticed on my second watch that Sora is wielding a Woody keyblade from the get go. I wonder if this is just a showcase or if the Kingdom Key morphs to reflect the world their in, like their appearances.
Speaking of their appearances, that's the one criticism I have about this. They're ALL action figures. I wish they each had a different style like Sora an action figure, Donald a plushie, etc. Like in Atlantis or Pride Lands.
Coming in 2018 days? Sooner than I expected. Q1 2023, here we come!
