So we got a hold of those bead things and made some 8 Bit Characters

Everyone and their dog has made these, but I think they are pretty fun. Anyone else made given these a go?

I am sure we will be venturing into the realm of more complex sprites and such in future! It's surprisingly enjoyable, just putting these little things together. x}

Very nice! I haven't, but I probably will some day since I'm fond of that type of simple handiwork.

Yeah, I used to make fun little things like these when I was younger! I never did anything intricate like this, but I had fun with it.

Are you using your own design, or are you using a grid of some sort?

We used the actual sprites from FF1 in a grid to get 4/5. The Blue mage I found an 8 bit one on the interner and worked around that. Was harder that the rest as there was no actual guide to follow.

I love bead sprites! We used to make them in my youth group, but I don't have any anymore. :( I would love to make some heart ones sometime.

Now that I have access to tables of a decent size I need to figure out what box I packed my beads up in and make some more.
