you can explain to the client why these are impossible. they are asking you for help, and you aren't educating them.

I don't work in customer service or tech support...but I had to call a client once to ask for some paperwork. I asked him to email it to me and he said okay. I gave him my email address "at" so-and-so-dot-com. He said what? I said "the at sign". "What's that?" "...the lowercase a with the circle around it?" This went on for awhile.....
At a different job, I emailed a client with detailed information he needed to know. He emailed back with "Call me. I don't do email."
.......I am not going to call you to read you the email I just sent you ~_~
