Unable to rep posts currently?

For some reason it appears that I can't add to anyone's reputation currently - are there some people who disable this function? I thought maybe I wasn't logged in properly at first but I am. I did a quick search to see if people have had a similar problem but I couldn't find anything.

What happens when you try to rep a post? Or is the little star icon at the bottom of the post not even showing?

Oh hang on, I just saw your post in Academia. Moogle Hugging is disabled for that forum.
