Red and Morrie Character Trailers for Dragon Quest VIII 3DS!

The 3DS port for the PS2 RPG classic is less than a month away and today, Square Enix presents two new trailers for the port's two exclusive playable characters Morrie and Red. Morrie and Red were in the original game; the player was introduced to Morrie when they came across the optional Monster Arena and Red wove into the game's plot during one dungeon before she took off and was never seen again.

In these trailers we see that Morrie can use fisticuffs, boomerangs, and clubs for weapons. His fourth skill set, Passion, allows him to call monsters for special attacks unlike the Call Monster ability by the Hero which switches the party out for your Monster Arena team. Red on the other hand uses fisticuffs, fans, and whips. Her fourth skill set Roguery allows her to summon help from her pirate crew to assault enemies.

Red have a good special attack with daggers he strikes 6 times in 100 its broken morrie its better with hammers
this videogame have bonus dungeons and its good spot for leveling this game furthermore offers minimap y stylus screen its impossible lost in there probaly the interface its the same for japanese version but im not sure

I'm just wondering who I'm going to replace. I mean VIII's party was great.

Yeah, I laughed when I saw that too.

As much as I love Morrie, I can't really see him sticking around and not becoming irritating after awhile. I also feel Red worked better as the aloof and distant ally who never gets her hands dirty.

Wish I had a 3DS. I remeber spending hours trying to cook up some Alchemy in the pot! May need to plug in the old PS2 again. Need a 3DS though to play this gem again.

To be fair, I don't really intend using Morrie or Red either. I honestly think they're not a necessary addition at all. I'm just happy this is coming to 3DS.

Who needs Red and Morrie when you've already got Yangus and Jessica - two of the best characters in the entire series?

in this game its possible boss rush (becouse its extra dungeon its furthermore good spot of farming metal monsters etc)
