Final Fantasy 9 - Vivi by UMTA
We're kicking this week off with an incredible creation of colour and beauty by Polish artist Adam Węsierski, aka UMTA, who some of you may recognise as one of the talents to take part in Final Fantasy VII: Moments. I love everything about this image. I feel it's the collective of all the individual pieces - the tree, the grass, the city, the sky, Vivi and the airship - which combine so incredidibly well in their varying colours and shapes to make this a true masterpiece.

Laguna Loire by RGDopico
Time to head over to Final Fantasy VIII, and it looks like Lugana Loire is on the run! Spanish artist RGDopico, aka LoveLoki and real name Raquel, says that Laguna is her favourite character from the game and doesn't get the fanaticism he deserves! Do you agree? Zack and Aeris -Final Fantasy by Rina-Liu
It looks like Aeris is praying for an angel and getting exactly what she's asking for! Or perhaps this is something a little more than that, and Rina felt there was more to Aeris' final moments than we could see. Is this what was appearing in Aerith's mind just before - or perhaps just after - that fatal scene? Either way, what we're seeing in front of us right now is some gorgeous and touching artwork of two fan favourites, and I for one could not be happier to see the American artist's interpretation of their long-awaited reunion.

Final Fantasy VII - Cloud Strife by ACGearmaker
And here's another character from Final Fantasy VII! This work was of Cloud with his fusion swords and in his Advent Children outfit was actually put together 2-3 years ago, however ACGearmaker has opted to upload it now and we're all grateful he's got around to it! This artwork is both badass and beautiful. One Deviant asked him how one can even become this good at art... and the artist, real name Andrew, replied with one word - Determination. Again - badass and beautiful!

Big Hero 6 x Kingdom Hearts! + speedpainting by Cyarin
Dutch artist Cyarin is hoping they aren't they only one hoping for a Big Hero 6 appearance in Kingdom Hearts III, and I'm confident he can rest easy as I'm sure thousands of Disney and Kingdom Hearts fans around the world feel exactly the same! Baymax's huge frame provides the outline to this digital artwork while Hiro and Sora sit happiyl in his arms. What about you guys - are you excited for the new Kingdom Hearts game? Lenne - Final Fantasy X-2 by alyonheart (photography) and AFKCosplay (cosplay)
Let's finish this showcase off with our ever-present Cosplay of the Week! This week we're heading to the first major sequel in the series, Final Fantasy X-2! The stunning cosplayer known as Freckled Korean - one half of AFKCosplay - has been captured to perfection by Andrew, aka Lyon Hart Photography. The combination of clever touches such as the crystal feathers by the talented photographer are perfect, while the cosplay... well, I'm sure you can see for yourself. Elegance and grace, absolutely beautiful.
