Fists/Claws, they see those reality warping gods and are like, "Imma punch it."
Spears/Lances are a very close second. They're just as iconic to the series as swords. And Dragoon is my DPS of choice in XIV.
Dual-wielded chakrams (like the FFXIV dancer has). I'm a sucker for dual-wielded "exotic" weapons like chakrams/tonfa. Sadly, tonfa hasn't really been represented in FF, showing up only a couple times as a different weapon class (nunchucks, poles)
I mean, I got a hammer that shot lightning this one time and gave it to my white wizard. That was pretty dope. Probably that.
Or Aeris' stick, because that BONG is hilarious.
Definitely spears. I'd probably go with that even if swords were allowed.
