Final Fantasy XIV - Patch 2.35 Updates! A Brief Glimpse at the New Stuff in Eorzea!

Guten tag Eorzeans! Patch 2.35 is going live TODAY in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. If you're not excited about this then you should be, because this patch is bringing some more pretty amazing treats to an already pretty magnificent buffet of treats!

Here is a brief rundown of just a few of the things that are being added to the game!

Playable Content

• Ixali Beast Tribe quests have been added in Gridania's North Shroud.
• Daily Beast Tribe quests.
• Delivery quests.
• Allied Beast Tribe quests in Limsa Lominsa, Gridania, and Ul'Dah

Treasure Hunt

• Leather buried treasure maps now yield elemental clusters as opposed to shards.

Grand Companies

• The option to undertake supply and provisioning requests is now the first query when the Grand Company personal officer is spoken to.
• A confirmation message will show up when leaving a Grand Company or discharging a free company member.

Housing

• Free Company members can now be discharged even if they have private quarters or a stabled chocobo.
• Players can now rename their chocobo.
• A star will appear each time a chocobo levels up past the initial cap.
• Players can now feed stabled chocobos a snack which will alter the plumage colour of the chocobo.

The option Feed my chocobo has been added to the Chocobo Stable interface under Tend to My Chocobo. By selecting this option, players can feed their chocobo any of the following fruits:

Xelphatol Apple / Doman Pum / Mamook Pear / Valfruit / O'Ghomoro Berries / Cieldalaes Pineapple

Once fed, a chocobo's plumage will change in six hours (Earth time).

NPC

• The Skywatcher NPC has been added to all major region. The Skywatcher will inform you of all weather for each region, with forecasts for the next 6, 8, and 24 hours.

Battle

• The effects of Glamour Prism will now carry over into the Wolves Den PvP area.
• Players can now form an alliance before carrying out duties at the Labyrinth of the Ancients and Syrcus Tower.

Items

• A STACK of new items have been added; here.

Emotes

• /pet and /handover have been added.
• The height if your character will now determine how their emotes look.
