Weigh in done, happy with my progress so far :D
You know your weigh-in for today doesn't count towards your total, right? It's just to get an actual reference to where you are today.
That being said, you've done really well so far! So good job, man!
Oh yeah, I knew we were starting from today. I've been doing this since new year though. This friendly competition is just an extra incentive. I still hope to lose another 26 pounds so this will help me focus... and thanks very much!
Alright, just making sure! :D
We bought scales and bottles to have water. The cashier now knows we;re on some health bender and will laugh at us in 6 monthes when we've made like no progress. THE PREEMPTIVE SHAME!
Our deets are all updated on MFP. It's time to get down to business. :3
Precisely. By the end of this, we will be able to climb to the top of a wooden pillar.
Personally I'd be up for an unfriendly weight loss competition, where we mail each other brownies, cakes, etc. to sabotage each other.
Now for those wondering my mailing address is....
I've not logged in this week at all.
It's been rough going in general and I just can't be assed to worry about it right now. I'll get back on track on Monday hopefully.
I don't have a scale so I can't weigh myself bleh :( pooooooooo (probably a good thing I'd cry)
I may join in on this, but I'm not going to be doing the whole diet thing. I would rather eat what I love and work out more than mentally starve myself.:)
I'll have to figure out the app and find you all.
There is one question for everyone though, is it better to get a tattoo as losing weight or wait till you get to an ideal weight then get it?
Depends on where you get it, but I'd wait until you get to an ideal weight.
That's just me though.
It's not mentally starving yourself. Honestly, you can eat whatever you want as long as you count the calories in it and still lose weight. I (and I'm sure many others) just choose to eat healthier as well, because it's better for you. You can also eat more volume for the same amount of calories with healthy food. And exercise only really takes you so far (especially if you're out of shape and can only work out for so long; you're probably not going to burn enough calories to just eat whatever you want indiscriminately).
RE: tattoo
If you're going to get it in a place that will be affected by weight loss/you have a lot of weight to lose, just wait. Some tattoos look fine when a person has gained or lost weight, contrary to popular belief, but since you don't have one yet you may as well not risk it. Also, it can be an incentive/reward for hitting your weight goal.
