Not nessecerially. One of the biggest advantages is that should the enemy cast Dispel or Slow on you, your casted Haste is gone. Not so for SOS Haste. In fact, SOS Haste even allows you to avoid the...
There's no doubt that the Auto-'s are superior, but that's exactly the point of the SOS's. They're easier to obtain and available earlier, in exchange for being not as good.
The SOS abilities in FFX are useful in some cases.
For example, if you get a character to low HP, SOS Reflect makes you completely invincible against Seymour Natus, except for the very weak...
Zidane has a long, brown tail... if you know what I mean.
I like making Rikku use my Dark Matter... if you know what I mean.
Seymour: "Feel my pain!... if you know what I mean."
Catcher Chocobo is easy, it just takes some practice. I can do it almost every time these days. (Or at least, I could a while back, don't know about now.) - and by that, I do mean the 0 seconds, not...
Zanarkand announcer: "My balls and I never talked so much... whoa, didn't mean to reminisce, folks."
Auron: "The red carpet has balls."
Mika: "Do you not value your friends' balls?"
Why did Peter Griffin cross the road?
Because you touch yourself at night.
Am I the only one who thought this was just going to be an FF1 remake until I actually read the thread? (Come on... "Hikari no 4 Senshi"?)
Which is why it was easier to use the statuses to your advantage, or just heal them.
Also, Confuse Ward wasn't at all hard to get, and it was sufficient to completely prevent being confused by...
Cheat device code:
0031731A 00000001
Convert to your cheat device's format, of course.
If you're wondering how such a complicated feature has such a short code, whereas the "Add Ribbon in NA"...
Crusader: "Sin always returns for its balls."
Mika: "Those who question these balls... they are the traitors!"
Biran/Yenke: "Buttcrack may pass. Wiener may pass. Balls not pass!"
I'm only going to comment on ones that I've played completely here (as in, at the very least, the storyline and the majority of the optional bosses - although with the sole exception of Omega Weapon...
It wasn't cut, it was never in there to begin with. The original Japanese version didn't have them either.
They were added when the International version was made, which is a common practice to...
Okay, I've got the code for Ribbon, and while it does require some type of cheat device, it doesn't need to be Code Breaker.
The following code should add Ribbon to the American version. Note that...
As long as it exists in your version of the game, yes.
However, the code won't allow you to customize Ribbon on the american version, because Ribbon doesn't exists there.
Me and a couple of other...
I just managed to hack a cheat device code that lets you customize any equipment ability with just a single potion for each ability.
I have versions of the code for both PAL and American releases,...
Auron: "Ten years ago, Jecht saw his first balls here. Surprised, he drew his blade and struck them. He was drunk. Thought they were fiends."
Short of them actually making passes at other members of the same gender, you can't really know for sure. You could argue Tidus is gay because of his high-pitched voice.
I'm quite a girly guy...
He was just annoying. My favourite out of the non-optional ones was Sanctuary Keeper, simply because he actually had some degree of intelligence.
Zanarkand announcer: "Our balls - gone, vanished into thin air."
Jecht: "You were always such a stiff, but that's what I liked about you."
Maybe so in theory, but in practice, he just doesn't cut it as well.
Anyone can equip First Strike weapons, and there is very little advantage in having it on a celestial weapon - the only enemy...
