I haven't played the demo..but I do heard about the lack of random battles thingie. I don't really understand how it works. Is it that you can avoid fighting monsters you don't want to in the world...

FFVIII is the first FF I've played, so my opinions may be biased. However, there are some things that I agree and disagree with the previous posts.

Squall is MEANT to be cold..and somehow,...

Quistis..I dunno..she looks so mature, but she is in fact kinda chilidish, she's not even sure of what's her feeling towards Squall. Not that I have anything against her though....
