ff1 - probably warmech/tiamat. i couldn't get to tiamat for the longest time, thanks to warmech. and i was in no shape to fight him yet. arg.

ff2 - i had a pretty easy time with this game, though...

i'm gonna guess a chinchilla.

ffl2 is really good. it's a bit cheesy in parts, but it has a very similar leveling system to ff2j. the other two aren't really worth it.
