You can die of a broken heart. You can give up the will to live and die. Very plausible.
Anyone else cursing the horrible camera work on the kiss scene? I didn't want to see it from a distance....
I love Raine. Her no nonsense, tell it like it is, quick wit was extremely admirable. She was honest with herself and with those around her. I wish we could have seen more of her character.
I think overall, Quistis probably felt useless because she couldn't do the one thing for Squall that she wanted too. She wanted to open him up, she had worked for years to get inside his head (and...
I understand that, but by sheer default of having to run to and fro, I end up with a level 25 by the end of the first disk or the beginning of the second. And that isn't taking time out to level up.
Squall is very much alive, thanks. Rinoa wouldn't have looked so thrilled after the whole flower scene. And he's not shown in the credits because he's out on the balcony putting the moves on Rinoa....
How did you make it all the way to disk four at a lvl 25? o.o;
Definately draw and cast regen on Rinoa and on the other characters. Level up a bit. And then beat the bloody daylights out of...
Sorry about that. ^^;; Thank you for adding one.
I am debating how much of the situation effected her. During the assasination attempt during the first disk, she wanted to be out saving the world...
Everyone talks about how Rinoa has changed Squall, how she has opened him up and made him a whole person.
Not a lot of people talk about the changes that happen in Rinoa.
They are quite subtle,...
Well....I never actually finished FF7...so...I wouldn't have recognized it.
And I meant the entire western hemisphere when I said "American."
Is FFVIII the only Final Fantasy that has been influenced greatly by American mythology? I haven't noticed it in the other games.
Well, then GF Diablos is a curse...no?
Actually, I thought that "Diablos" in spanish only meant "devil" and not necessarily Satan. I could be wrong. ^,^;;
Selphie was a ton of fun. I loved her the moment she bumped into Suall. ^,^
Ellone did know, and she did tell Laguna. When they met up.
Ellone and Squall were sent to live in the orphanage.
Five or six years later (maybe even more, it is hard to judge) Ellone...
Mwa, it's the attack of the old threads. >D *laughs* Just kidding. Anyway.
I agree with Evelia. The FF characters were just cameos. As much as I'd like to think that Leon was the real Squall,...
As long as you use the demi that you drew from him, he will cast Curaga. Which I think is very spiffy. ^^
We all know that the Final Fantasy series tends to involve a lot of mythology in the story line. I was quite suprised to find that FFVIII has at least two strong ties to Ancient American mythology....
I adored Rinoa. She is definately a favorite of mine.
Oh, it was definately because of Squall.
I dunno. It was so real to me. The characters seemed to just pop right out, and I sometimes felt that I was right there, that I was part of their group. ...
I think in some cases, the story of Laguna and Julia somewhat mimic the situation with Quistis. Quistis was attracted to Squall, but it was simply not meant to be. Laguna and Julia probably could...
