An entirely new section, dedicated to spam only, would change the message board too much, it's just such a big step to take, letting people spam in an entire section of their own. I would suggest one...

I post a lot at the 'Shrine, and they use 100x100 pixel avatars. But even though it gives me more, um, artistical freedom, I don't think it's necessary.

I agree. Not that I post in the Daily Grind, but I think it looks awkward with a "dead" section near the top of the list.
