Im actually playing this through for my first time as well. Im playing the version on Origins....which I dig. I know you get one bloodsword in a chest, and you still have quite a while to go.

I found this guy to be very easy....I guess after beating Nemesis everything in the game is easy though...

Its really not too hard to get, you just have to be really patient. There are harder weapons to get in this game...

The higher you are the higher he is.....he was 75 or 76 when I got him.

I got the Zodiac Spear before any of my characters were on level 30. I beat this guy fairly easily, just used two good quickining chains.....if all of your characters, or most, have 3 quickinings...

How could it take you 90 hours to beat FF X? It took me 57 hours to beat the game AND I did 90% of the game's sidequests.

As for FF XII, I sort of find it long without the sidequests, but tthat's...

My theory is that you never truly beat a Final Fantasy until you beat the optional fights (Ozma, Nemesis, Weapons, etc.).....have you done all of the hunts?
