Just now I was upgrading to AVG anti-virus 8. Rebooted and now my desktop is missing.

Try a drive cleaning cd-rom, and pray. The old models are very sensitive to dust.

I am going to say that late 2001 to early 2003 were the best for me. At that time I had the time to post lots and some members just made it fun.
