I thought FFX was way too linear and FFXII brought more freedom back to the player. I liked it...

If I had known how great this story was, I would have read the books long ago. The problem is there are so many 'epic' fantasy series, which last many books, usually with a boring 'chosen'...

In which way did each of the Final Fantasies you have played stand out for you?

IV-The colourful characters and awesome story, especially for such an old game

Some of the topics here are less than positive, but this game certainly had its good points as well.

The thing I loved most about it is that the characters actually seem to like each other and...

I would love seeing a film with a good series and several FF characters showing up.

The problem is they wouldn't consider who would work into the storyline the best, but show the most famous ones....

When I first saw the trailers of FFVIII, I was very excited about this couple, but that disappeared in the first disc.

Everything seemed to evolve around them and their feelings, even the other...

When Rydia appeared again and made toast of that annoying summon. Emotions went from :eek:how-am-I-ever-gonna-kill-this? to :jess::jess:

Rosa :cool:; without her I was toast, while I could still go on if any of the others died.

If they keep doing this, they might as well make all the pre-FFVII games look REALLY good by might as well re-release them on the PS3 :love:

It has a huge world to explore and lots of side-quests etc. I for one loved it :)

Of the games since 2000, I loved the freedom of Final Fantasy XII, but I also really liked FFVI. Difficult choice.

Have good hopes for FFXIII-VS since it will give us an open map again :jess:
