Well in the little book you get with the game it says Delita has a long rule........maybe he had a Phoenix Down in his pocket or something or a Chemist was walking around and saved them both. Or...

FFTA is not considered by many a TRUE sequel to the first FFT.
I think it wasnt very well put together and it was to easy to defaet boards and stuff...I got bored with it within a hour and got tired...
