About 30:00, I think I went through Omega Ruins but didn't do much else.
The awesomeness of Cait Sith gives FFVII the advantage.
Organizing the way Omnislash did:
a) I prefer the general style FFVI's graphics are done in, but the FMV's and certain well done...
Squall by far. And I consider Celes as the main character of FFVI, not for any reason other than being my favorite.
Has anyone else picked up this game? What do people think?
I'm maybe 5 hours in having had a bunch of free time, and I'm loving the fun feel of it, though Hilda bugs me a bit. The story seems...
I think the only way they could make this game decent is through a SSB or other fighter style, in which case I would love to see it. I think if it would be made as an rpg it would be BS. They'd...
I'd say VII as it brought it mainstream and honestly, I'd have never played the series otherwise. I'd say VI though beats it in some ways, as VI was the first to have a truly wonderful story...
1.FFVIII- I won't claim this game is undiluted, but it has so many wonderful moments, and has such well done characters that this game nears perfection. Squall is my favorite character of all time....
I love how Rikku has now been called a guy by two people... apparently they haven't played X-2.
In Order:
1.Auron
2.Wakka
3.Seymour (well done villian, I don't care what he looks like)
4.Tidus...
I'd play Chrono Trigger first though, I think FFIV is great but CT rules all on the SNES, and these are remakes of that.
I hugely enjoyed SH and absolutely love SH2. I loved the innovation in the judgement ring and love the way the characters and story develop.
1.FFT
2.Vandal Hearts
FFT had a better storyline and slightly better characters, but I really liked some strategic elements in VH.
This game is very, very upbeat. Yes, you could argue the ending is sad, but they tainted that by giving it a very upbeat good ending.
Wakka ftw!
No, not really but he definitely doesn't deserve to fall this early. He was fun and when he was bigotted it was a surprising nicely done touch- which I wish had been put in more...
FFV-Ultima Shadow did a challenge on this that was practically impossible (specifically Shinryu) but I don't remember it.
FFVI-Natural magic, low level is the standard.
FFVII-Solo Character, No...
Or... you could use the always cheep trick of having a gunner with catnip and low health own it.
As I said in a thread a little while ago:
So most probably all of this has been said before but here goes:
(the below numbers are from the boss faq by Haunter120 on gamefaqs)
So you must...
I like Vivi most... but I wasn't thinking and voted Kuja, who is also highly deserving of the vote.
I would say you're screwed... but you never seem to be in this type of challenge.
Shadow of the Colossus in not an rpg, but it is so amazing. You should read reviews of it, it just has this unbelievable feel. I'll let someone else describe this.
My other fave PS2 series is...
Ouch, good luck on this. I may try this or a similar challenge sometime...
FFVI is good, though I prefer FFIV, but CT gets the cigar.
If you want the game to be a breeze then new game. If you want to run away from every fight and attack your own characters for the first turn of every battle and still win without trouble, new game...
Yes... FFVIII.
Young viewers, please cover your eyes and scroll down to avoid foul language...
The above is blatantly and terribly wrong. Do not fall into the writer's swindling tricks. Characters are better...
