I always though FF2 was more like Star Wars than FF8.
I always thought the guy with the huge sword in Soul Caliber reminded me of Cloud, but that's about it.
It's fine, I can't expect you to remember the exact weapons you had at this point in the game. But yes, I have been using the Sturdy Bones to get the Exp multiplier.
I'm fighting Barthandelus on the Palamecia, and it's taking forever for me to stagger him or even get any good hits on him. My Crystarium is full on all my characters, so I've been leveling up my...
I really hate the Demon Wall in FF4 and FF7.
Just because the Crystarium was capped off doesn't mean you can't level up your weapons and accessories.
I found III, IV, V, and VI better than XIII.
I like somewhat predetermined roles. 4's I loved the best, even if it is pretty simple compared to games nowadays. I also enjoyed the class system of 3 and 5. So I guess I hafta say that I like a...
That sentence makes me think of bad Yaoi fan art. O_o
I don't think you get summon materia in Crisis Core.
Any reason they skipped III?
Please tell me you aren't comparing Final Fantasy VI to to Avatar.
I prefer hearing voice acting in my own language.
And on that note, Mass Effect has some of the best voice acting I have ever heard in a video game. why can't Japanese games get the same kind of...
II technically did it first.
Crystarium felt way too linear for me. At least it looked pretty.
Rydia's appearance was definitely well done. I also love at the end right before the final battle when the Final Fantasy theme plays and all your party members are healed.
Did anyone ever read the NP review of FF6/3? How the heck could they give this game a 3.75 out of 5? Seriously, what the hell?
One of the reasons I liked the first three FF's is that the characters didn't really say anything. You just got right down to the meat of the game.
The whole entire game. :)
If you want a good example of great characters, play Mass Effect 1 and 2.
Whenever I played VII, I never really felt like Cloud and Aeris were anything more than just a mercenary hired to protect someone. Besides, can you imagine cloud settling down and having kids?

You'd be surprised at how many Rule 34 pictures forget the l'Cie mark.
The SNES translation isn't as bad as people make it out to be, and I played the Advance version first. I still feel like the Advance script is the better of the two, but since music is important to...
VI was the first FF that I beat.
And it was awesome.
VII was the last FF that I beat.
And it was also awesome.
Both great games, but both overrated.
Crisis Core was fun and let you have a nice look at the locations and characters introduced in VII, but I didn't really like that they added Genesis into the mix.
