In the interest of keeping the thread going, I'm going to retire this riddle.
I'll pass the torch to Sir Cloud for coming closest to the correct answer.
Sir Cloud almost had it with the first guess.
Each line is a different example of the same thing.
Nothing to do with the Temple.
Sir Cloud figured out the third line, but that was just one part.
Sir Cloud has part of it, but not the answer.
Ha, just assumed it was a dude behind the name. No offense.
Woot!
I've gotta give some credit to The Fresh Prince though; if he didn't bring up the flashback I wouldn't have got it.
Riddle time:
Sometimes the meek can triumph where the brave cannot,...
Cloud's promise to Tifa to save her if she's ever in trouble?
Cait Sith?
Not sure about this one, but figured I'd try.
First, a late congrats to Rantzein for solving the riddle, which turned out to be tougher than I thought it would.
As for the answer, I'm gonna say Ribbon.
Getting closer still; it seems you've got the right idea about them being easily missed. Stick to enemies in that general area and you'll have it.
Eight times.
Still nothing. It has nothing to do with frogs though, they've just got a lot in common.
Seven times.
Six times.
I'll re-post with the hint:
Brothers.
They don't get along.
No touching.
Hint: They're easily missed
Nope.
Five times.
Getting closer.
A couple more hints:
1. They are easily missed.
2. The answer has already come up four times since I posted the riddle, but no one's said it yet.
Closest so far.
I should clarify what I meant by this; the guesses you guys have been giving are great, but still a ways off. So, the brothers in the riddle never have any contact with each other.
Not at all.
If brothers don't get along, why would they hang out together? ;)
Still no, but your reasoning is getting closer.
Not Reno and Rude, and it has nothing to do with the main characters.
Nope.
I figured Yin-Yang and Schizo would come up, but I forgot about the Lost Number; that's almost a better answer for the riddle than what I came up with.
Either way, the riddle is still unsolved.
This one should be pretty quick:
Brothers.
They don't get along.
No touching.
In that case, what about the Hell Rider?
Is it the Death Dealer?
You said the Devil Ride was close, but I'm not sure if you meant geographically. The northern crater is a ways from Midgar, but Death Dealer seems to fit the last line...
